A sport like no other

Outside is the first and only MARS -- a massive alternate-reality, role-playing sport -- a theatrical sport of pretend, in which you and other players create your dream character and compete against one another in a variety of games for magic presents (that is right… Magic. ✨ Presents. 🎁), and also have nice picnics because picnics are very nice. As you play, you'll gain experience points that allow you to learn skills of every imaginable variety, increasing your team odds of victory, and becoming the hero -- or villain -- you were meant to be.

A living world

Outside isn't just a team vs. team, or player vs. player game -- you're not just playing against each other. You're also playing with each other. Outside is a massive game of pretend that everyone plays together, and what you do in the world matters, because Outside is… well if anything, it’s a “game” of everyone vs. the world. As you and the other players play Outside together over the years, your decisions help determine whether you – yes, all 🌎 of 🌍 you 🌏 – win or lose the Grand Game. Every team faces at least one event each year where the decisions they make will shape the fate of our world. While each day brings us closer to the game’s end, what lies at the end of this story is up to all of you. Be warned: Outside is not a forgiving game. A Game Over may just cost you... well, everything.●◡●
